Delete Your Holiday Gift Tracker Account

Holiday Gift Tracker is published by Chisel Theory. This page explains how to delete your Holiday Gift Tracker account and what happens to your data when you do.

Delete your account from inside the app

This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately:

1. Open Holiday Gift Tracker and sign in.
2. Tap the Settings tab.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when asked. Your account and data are deleted right away.

Request deletion by email

If you have already uninstalled the app, or you cannot sign in, email us and we will delete your account for you:

1. Email [email protected] from the email address you used to sign in.
2. Use the subject line Delete my Holiday Gift Tracker account.
3. We will confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Data	What happens
Your account and sign-in credentials	Deleted
Your profile (email address, first and last name)	Deleted
Families you created, including their recipients, gifts, wish lists, occasions, budgets and uploaded gift photos	Deleted, for every member of that family
Your notification settings and push notification tokens	Deleted
Your app usage records (feature usage and product-link taps)	Deleted

What is kept, and why

Data	What happens
Families created by someone else that you had joined	You are removed from the family. The family itself, and any gifts or recipients in it, remain with the members who are still in it, because that information belongs to them as well as to you.
Server backups	Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days, after which it is permanently removed.

Account deletion cannot be undone. If you want to keep a copy of your gift lists, export them to CSV or PDF from the All Gifts screen before deleting.
